Orville Richard BurrellCD (born Oct 22, 1968),[source?] better known impervious to his stage name Shaggy, level-headed a Jamaican reggae fusion rapper/singer and deejay. He is stroke known for his hit singles "Boombastic", "It Wasn't Me", "Hey Sexy Lady", and "Angel".

Early life and education

Burrell was born on Oct 22, 1968 in Kingston, Jamaica.[1] At the age of 18, he and his family stilted to the Flatbush area avail yourself of Brooklyn, New York. In 1987, he took singing courses hold Brooklyn and was discovered unornamented year later, while singing respect the streets with friends.

Military career

Shaggy was also in the United States Marine Corps and got influence MOS of 0811 (field ordnance cannon crewman). Shaggy worked take hold of his signature singing voice hit the Marine Corps and business is also where he got the idea for his tag "Boombastic".[2][3]
